Before i start, these sub-cultures (Punk, Goth, Emo) is a way of living and state of mind, the fashion sense is just to show on the outside on they way we see life.
But your little ‘Pimp’ and ‘Prep’ fashion, is killing our sub-cultures. All of the above images i have posted on what people see them as, are exactly the same fashion sense, but they are being branded and seen as Punk, Goth and Emo.

Not only is this the reason why these sub-cultures are dead, but is the reason why these sub-cultures have no meaning, its being turnt into a fashion parade!

Punk: To rebel against and stick up for what you belive in, not helping the goverment by doing things with no profet - the goverment are ruining lifes.

How its changed: Buying sparkly outfits that cost £50 and going around saying “im Punk”.

Emo: Shot for ‘Emotional’, a way of life in which you express your feelings to the advanced.

How its changed: Buying “Emo” fashion because its “cool”.

Goth: To see the beauty in all dark and gloomy things and situations, the fasination of history and artcutecture.

How its changed: Wearing a cross and thrilly black tights and branding it “Goth”.

Now, im not trying to go “look THIS IS what Goth/Emo/Punk is”, im trying to stop these sub-cultures from being destroyed by those who thinks its “cool” and “funky”

And to all you Preps, you have your OWN lifestyle and your OWN fashion sense, so dont try mixing it with these Sub-cultures, its NOT going to make you “cool” or “different” or “hipster”, the only thing your succseding in is ruining it for the rest of us!
